.jpg)
Subcommittee of the Substation Commission in 2018 will celebrate the development of the transformer standard for 100 years, the development of the Transformers Committee and its achievements.
The roots of the committee go back to 1918 when a subcommittee of Standards Committee ‘No 8 Transformers’ was formed to contribute to the Standardization Rules of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers (AIEE), the single common standard of the AIEE at that time. AIEE and IRE (Institute of Radio Engineers) merged to form the IEEE in 1963, IEEE stated in the press announcement.
The Spring Meeting be held from March 25 to 29, 2018 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania will be attended by many IEEE PES dignitaries joining in the celebration.
Welcome everyone to the meeting.
